The evolution of the Internet has extended to objects and devices the possibility to interact with the network and transfer data and information. Connected to IoT we have the paradigm of Industry 4.0, the process that is leading industrial production to be totally automated and interconnected. Most of the technologies behind IoT and Industry 4.0 are related to wireless\/radio devices. The certification of these products has a rather complex and varied process depending on the reference market. In Europe for the CE Marking of products with radio modules, such as GSM\/3G\/LTE\/5G modules, WI-FI, BLE, Sigfox, is in force Directive RED 2014\/53\/EU. For non-EU countries a specific certification is required, often obtainable with RED or FCC tests. In other states local laboratory tests are required.
